For customers

Before your pilot.

What cameras does Mantid work with?

Most of them. Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch, Hanwha — plus any ONVIF- or RTSP-compliant camera. 500+ models supported. No replacement, no proprietary hardware. If you have it installed, we can run on it.

Does my video leave the site?

Not by default. Inference runs on a Mantid box deployed inside your network. Raw video stays on site. Only metadata, alerts, and the specific clips you choose to export go to the cloud.

How long does deployment take?

Library models — spill, smoke, PPE, restricted areas, forklift, emergency exit — typically deploy in days on existing cameras. Custom-trained models take roughly four weeks for training, then run on the same install. First catch is usually within the first week.

What incidents does Mantid catch?

Six library-grade safety models out of the box: spill detection, smoke and fire, PPE compliance, restricted areas, forklift safety, blocked emergency exits. Plus operations telemetry: turnaround time, dock cycle, queue and wait, bay utilization, density. Anything outside the library, we train on your footage.

Can you train custom models on our specific hazards?

Yes. Send us a clip or describe what you want detected. If it's not in the library, we train a custom model on your footage in about four weeks. Same accuracy guarantees, same edge-first deployment.

How is Mantid different from cloud-only camera AI?

Three ways. We run on cameras already installed — no rip-and-replace. Video stays on site by default — no cloud upload of raw footage. And our models are trained on 100,000+ live cameras across Fortune 500 deployments — not stock training data.

What does a pilot look like?

Thirty days, one site, one or more models. We bring the box, plug into your network, configure on your cameras, and you start receiving alerts in the first week. No long-term commitment to start — you decide whether to expand after the pilot proves out.

What about security and compliance?

Edge-first architecture, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, SOC 2 controls inherited from Dragonfruit AI, tenant isolation, audit logging, role-based access. Documentation available under NDA. See our security page for details.

For partners

Before you sign on.

What happens to my recurring if my customer churns?

Recurring follows the contract. If the customer renews, your share renews. If they churn, the recurring stops with the contract — but registered deals stay registered, so a returning customer six months later is still yours.

Average pilot-to-PO timeline for partner-led deals?

Library models deploy in days. Most partner-led pilots convert in a few weeks to a couple of months — depending on site complexity and the customer's procurement cycle. Custom-trained models add a training cycle on top. We'll size it together on your first deal.

Can I run my own demo without looping you in?

Yes. Once you've got NFR access, your team can run scoping demos and early POCs without us. We're there when you want a co-pitch, not gating your sales motion.

Two of my reps refer the same prospect — who wins?

First registration wins, full stop. We confirm promptly — typically within a business day or two. The other rep gets a courtesy heads-up so it doesn't turn into an internal fight.

Do you also sell direct? How does that affect me?

Yes, in some segments. Registered deals are protected — we won't go around a partner on a deal in flight, and we'll route any inbound from accounts you've registered back to you.

How locked-in is the program shape right now?

Honest answer: not very. We're in our first wave. Economics, deal-reg windows, and territory carve-outs are being shaped with the partners signing now. Get in early, get a louder say in how it lands.
